Mat wells

Just had a tiler round to look at floor tiling and due to my screed sitting quite high and my door sitting low he has suggested putting in a mat well. This will sit where the door opens and will go upto the tiles with trim against the tiles.
It sounds a great solution and i'm sure it will look good, but can't find a picture of one anywhere.
Has anyone got anything similar or can point me in the direction of some pictures to look at?

Yes our back kitchen door is like it and its great. The mat is just a bit lower than the rest of the floor but being in a 'well' it doesn't slide about anywhere. Wish we had one at the front door too.0
