Are there any PS3 racing games that you can play 2 player split screen without having to go online?

Hubby and Son are desperate to 'whip each others butts' at racing!!

    Theres colin mcrae dirt, burnout, need for speed, heres a link to game website for all racing games they have on they're site, not sure which is the best, forgot to say i cant comment on any that have split screen for 2 players,

    motorstorm 2 (pacific rift) has split screen multiplayer for up to 4 people.

    burnout doesn't as far as i know.

    Buy WipeoutHD from the Playstation store, it has split screen & is stunning..........;)

    GT5 Prologue has split-screen.

    Dirt2 doesn't, don't know about Dirt as mentioned above.

    How has nobody mentioned Gran Turismo??? Probably the finest racing game ever made.

    I've not played it on the PS3 yet but all previous versions have had split screen capability.

    If you buy the Party pack addon (either download or I think it comes with the Ultimate edition) then you can take it in turn to do Burnout Challenges eg. quickest time to smash 5 billboards etc. Not split screen but still great fun.

    Didnt spot GT5 lol. Its still one of the finest racing games ever and one of the big reasons why people will buy a PS3 instead of an XBOX
