Boiler flame not igniting all the time.

Options
Trying to help out my sister who has a Glow-Worm Micron 70FF Boiler, which at present seems to have a mind of its own by turning on when it wishes.

The power lights are on and even performed some manual diagnostic investigation, and it seems the problem stems from the boiler. I’ve also read somewhere that those Glow worms are notorious for its faulty PCB boards.

Called up a couple of company’s and they all seem to say its will be at least 3 hours work.. min quote so far is £50+vat per hour + parts.

I’m tempted to try my luck at fixing this problem but first wanted to know if anyone had experience of this fault, and what would be the remedy?

Thanks for your help
Andy
