I spent £16.66 in tescos today, £12 on my mates little boy for his 5th birthday (present card, wrap) and the rest on shoe whitener for dd's trainers, addidas, expensive but act cheap! Look like they have been worn a thousand times not 10 times. lol. I indulged myself with a supernanny magasine which was £2.80. But i am going to sign up for the 3 for £1 offer as i have bought the first two in the series already.

£16.66 is great for me normally i would walk around tescos FINDING things to buy!!!,

    Have a lovely evening all

Hey Calley - how did your first day go? Hope it was ok.

Committed the cardinal sin whilst in the supermarket getting stuff for work (with work's money!) of picking up a few bits.

Needed (and forgot to get on weekly shop) Weetabix 24 pks (2 for £1.64, though advertised as 2 for £2), loose toms 33p, lemon squash 59p, but also picked up 8 peaches punnet (half price) 99p and oh dear a fresh cream sponge £1.39. Total £4.90.

Gone a bit overboard on buying summer food this week and it shows in the bills!
    Back on the DFW Wagon:

    CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
    CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
    Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/18

I went into Tescos to buy some brown rice......I came out spending..............0.71 on some brown rice ONLY!!!

I'm sure there are several people out there who can nod their heads in agreement that this is a monumental acheivement! :rotfl:

I thought that was going to be it for the day...then yet another leaving collection came around so all my spare change (£1.40) went into that leaving me with penny zero.

Someone else (Scottish?) said "Does it never end?"
I feel like that about bloody collections at work.

Maybe I should leave and just ask for the cash.....:D
