    Good Find Stumpy!

I saw this advertised a few times a while back (not on MSE).
Has anyone ever bought from them?, if so is quality any good?

    Thank

But first, the most asked question:

Q "Is anything worn under your kilt???"

A "No. Everything is in perfect working order Thank You!!."
  • Bought these knives before and don't think they are all that even if they are free to an extent(you pay p&p).

    But each to their own.

these knifes are always 'on offer' they look the part but i wouldn't say they are 'professional quality' by any stretch of the imagination. For a day to day knife they would prob be O.K but the RRP's are hugely inflated prices for these knifes.

If you want some 'proper' knifes try "henckels" or "global" brand - more expensive but you get what you pay with these.

Hmm - interesting reading. Generally, it looks as if, as long as you have no bother actually getting them, and you don't put them in the dishwasher (I've already learnt by experience with other knife sets!) then they seem okay. Especially considering the tenner you're paying for them.

I would comment that, if there is a problem with this company, you may be able to complain direct to Sky? As they are promoting this as a special offer to their customers and it takes up an entire page in their magazine.

Some time ago I bought a multi-region DVD player through their Sky Shop, only to find, when it was delivered, that it wasn't multi-region. They agreed to replace it with a multi-region one with no bother - once I convinced them that was what their advertising said!

Perhaps they can put 'supporting the knife amnesty' on the front of each box :)

I got the 3 oriental knives nearly a year ago - seem fine to me. Have kept their edge, and I've been bunging them in the dishwasher every time I've used them (nothing on them to say you couldn't, and I'm blowed if I'm washing up by hand!); no problems with rust for me.
