I hope you don't mind but for those of you wanting the Vtech My First Laptop - I'd urge you to think again. My daughter was given this for her birthday recently and it's a waste of £10 in my opinion. I read all the reviews and thought it would be ok but the screen is really small and the image is awful. You get a whole bunch of noises from pressing all the buttons, but that's about it. I struggled to do any of the games on there myself as it's all very clunky and frustrating, so my DD has got no chance!

Maybe go into a shop and have a play with one before you decide to go ahead? Or at least have a play when it arrives, so you can choose whether to send it back or not!

Thanks for this...definitely something to think about. My DS already has a Vtech laptop (a Winnie the Pooh one) which he loves, thus I thought getting a more "advanced" one would do him good, but maybe not! if I am able to get it i'll definitely have a look at it before deciding to keep it.
  • This may be an obvious question, but are the things in the brochure the only things with 25% off, or will there be more things? I have my eye on a shirt for my DF for Christmas, but it's £60  ... 25% off would be much appreciated!

On these days its usually the majority of the shop thats on offer! But depending on what it is depends on the % off, as beauty and perfume is just 10%. Fashion etc is usually 20% and they have some special offers with 25% off. Think the brochures are just used as a marketing ploy and to give you an idea of some prices!!
