Using a microwave in a cupboard?

I have just had my kitcehn refitted and I really dont want a big cumbersome microwave spoiling the look!!

I noticed in one of the cupboards there is a spare socket and I was thinking of using the microwave in the cupboard ( it an undercounter cupboard BTW).

Can anyone see any problem with this? I really only use the microwave for reheating and doing spuds before the oven. Id say the most I ever have it on for is 10 mins max.

The socket will be directly behind the microwave.

No problem as long as there is ventilation space round it. Microwave info will give details of the gaps required.

make sure you switch it off after use, and keep an eye on it when its one you should be fine. wouldn't shut the cupboard doors.

We have had our microwave in a pull down cupboard for about 4 years with no problems. We do keep the cupboard open when using the microwave and to let it cool after use.
