Dealing with Spark Energy

I moved out of my rented house in August and have been trying to extract a final bill from Spark Energy to settle the account. I am owed around £250 by them and, unsurprisingly, have been struggling to get any response from them for the past several months.
Does anybody have any advice on the best way to tackle this problem? Any dealings with this company in the past?
Thanks

While i've heard of this provier i've not heard very much about them - so to speak, nothing good and qually nothing bad. The steps to take are much the same as you may have read on these forumns previously.
assuming you still have the dates and readings you vacted the property, call Spark's customer complaint's line and speak to one of there complaints specialists. They should be able to close your account and explain any delay to you. As with any dealings with suppliers take a note of the agent's name, and the date and time of the call along with any relevant infomation. If you are unable to get a satisfactory response or resolution, speak to a supervisor or manager and if needs be obtain a copy of their cmplaints procedure and follow it all the way upto OFGem intervention.
I hope however that long ebfore this is necessary you will have the probelms resolved.0
