Hi can i ask maybe a silly question but can i reclaim the interest charged on my old card with this and late payment and overdraft fees this would clear my account with them.:rolleyes:

    You can claim interest on the charges

    No, they are perfectly entitled to charge interest on your purchases, but when they add late payment charges etc to your balance they will charge interest on the total balance, which means thay are charging interest on the charges as well. It's this interest that can be claimed

    thanks for reply, so should i just stick to the 8% adn add this on my charges:p

    TBH, for simplicity, that's what most people do. Remember to work out the 8% here, don't just add 8% to the total of your charges:
