There was something in today's paper about cleaning squeezy bath toys, as they grow stuff anyway. Apparently you need to wash them in milton, squeezing it in and out (and massaging any fiddly bits like ears and beaks) until no more black gunk comes out. So maybe it's just a reminder that they need cleaning anyway!0
