  • Today I will,

Use Gym didn't go out yesterday as the weather was so awful all day, I have a tidy house though and all the washing is up to date.

Hair cut, which is needed and expensive will have tea and read their magazines.

Meals in the freezer so no need to buy anything today or this week.

Hi - still DF but keeping myself on the straight and narrow with a house purchase and wedding coming up in the next 6 months!

    So, today:

Make meal plans - not that many evenings in this week due to free cinema screenings and suchlike so must think of some cheap food to take along with us.

    Daily scratchies - 10p 10p

Go to Tesco to stock up, managed to not go last weekend and just have a top up shop so now we're quite bare!

Meals from stores today - beans on toast for breakfast, something with butternut squash for lunch and HM pizza in front of X-Factor for tea.

Checked banking - PD yesterday so moved change to ISA, can't sort everything else out until Monday as left spreadsheet at work.

Money arrived from Paddypower matched bet so also into ISA.

Lottebear - when are you getting married? Or is it someone elses hen night you're saving for?

My SIL is getting married in July and I think the hen night is going to be a weekend away somewhere which is going to add up!

Also a dear friend from Uni is getting married in April hers is in Feb, which is a Facinator making day and a night out which is going to cost £100.

Hopefully the pennies will make a dent.
  • Mornig all

Starnac - yup my DS is feeling a bit better today but so wobbly on his feet - Lurleene hope your little T is feeling better.

Bi carb does work a treat on getting rid of smells - leaves a bit of a white residue which can be hoovered off when dry.

    Today
    Storecupboard tea
    Feed chickens
    Do some work
Try keep heating off for the day
Collect DS bike from the Library its been there since thursday (whoops)
    Must walk dog
Some post to do - not sure what else at the moment
Meal plan as well not done that yet!

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

  • Hello all, been a long time since I posted ( since June actually). My mum was very ill and subsequently died and life has been just about getting back to normal.
I have been reading and kept thinking about posting but forgot my login details. Had a memory flash this morning so signed in!
Nice to see some familiar names and some new ones - where is SM? Busy with her new cottage?
Will aim to post more regularly. Not a good start today as have spent rather than saved already but now have a Christmas present sorted for OH!
    YB
PS well done Fay on Evil Edna ( that's what I call myself when I've been in a bad mood with the DS's!)
    Getting there...slowly! :D

    GC : must do better
    NSD: very rare

No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.
  • YB sorry to hear about your Mum - terrible when you lose someone.

I think SM is busy keeping her hens busy and sweeping chimneys at the cottage and alike (I lurk on the live on £4k board!) ....................:)

Evil edna is truely dead - funny that you call yourself that I tell my two I am the wicked witch of the west!!!

Nice to see you about :) glad you remembered your login - Milly has been keeping us right! xx
