BB, I hate people being here too, especially if they havent been invited. I think I'm just completely anti social. :o

I hate it :o Even knowing I have family coming means a cleaning frenzy and a shopping frenzy plus then hosting till I drop. A few years back me and OH went to a quiz with people from work (god, I'd forgotten he would come out with me if there were my work people there ) and he invited a couple back to my house . God I was panicking inside, I really wasn't happy, it's weird, I just can't relax with people in the house :o

Thanks for the kind messages. I rang him to ask what the hell he was playing at - he's very very defensive, as usual it is all my fault. Apparently I just turned into a sl*g towards the end of our marriage, sleeping with everything that moved (funny how I didn't notice! I'm a bit miffed that I did that and don't remember the fun I must have had...).

Anyway, the most important thing is that Ryan has settled in bed okay, so hopefully will manage to sleep and put it behind him.

    I'm exactly the same :o

Some friends of DHs called in the week, unexpected, and I HATED it. We were still eating, DS had his PJs on, and felt embarrassed. He's been going on all week since saying 'who actually invited them' 'did we know they were coming'

OMG I've bred anti social kids :rotfl:

Snaggs, even 'if' you did, it isnt Ryan's fault is it.

I was wondering if he manufactured the row to ruin your weekend, knowing it would upset you. Could he be that sick?

  • Mum was like that about the house when I was a kid, having friends over or even family was a massive event. Even now I don't have people round - I wouldn 't have people over whilst Mum has been away cos the house is such a mess and I would be so embarrassed if people saw it. I am ok if the house is tidy tho, in fact I love showing it off just haven't had time due to work being so crap

What a complete !!!!!!...and like spud said even if you did as he accused you and that put him in a foul mood (on today of all days which seems odd) why is he taking it out on Ryan. You would think he would be doing everything possible to make Ryan love spending time with him...I know I would be if I were the parent in his situation.

Is he still seeing that new girlfriend or do you think this might be the problem?
