who would have thought that growing up with hair like this

    n588762230_1042058_4330.jpg

would end up with me having such a curly mop!! Weird how it happened - I had it permed lots as a teenager and when I was 18 had it done on thin, very tight bendy roller sticks - it hurt - lots. Through my 20s I had weaker and weaker perms and even semi-permanent perms - nothing dropped  About 7 years ago I had it all cut off into a Sharon Osbourne type cut and it grew back as you know me now!!! I asked a hairdresser and she said the perm I had at 18 had been so tight it changed the shape of my hai follicles, causing it to grow back curly - some bits are curlier than others- I guess where the sticks were tighter. All through my 20s, I'd been having perms on a curly hair - no wonder they never got looser :rotfl:

By the way BB.....loving the jumper and skirt combo!! :D Do we have the same mother??

I always wanted curly hair, I still wouldn't mind it but have no idea how perms etc work. Although since I can't even be bothered to keep up to having it trimmed and self coloured it's probably not a good idea to try anything else!

I should start thinking about tea, I'm not really hungry though. Might just have a couple of cheese toasties. Also need to stick some fish I've defrosted into the SC with a tin of spinach and carton of creme freche. However, all of that requires moving from the sofa...
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

sounds great pap. Will it be full time? Just thinking whether you could get a little job to top up your wages a bit

Its 4 days in the office plus one day at college. I dont know the hours but I am guessing 9-5? The sallary is £95 a week for two years fixed. There has been 'talks' with the place I work now to stay p/t just weekends there which would net me £160 a month on top... However thats 7 days a week work. I could do just saturday for £80  To be honest I am not thinking of the money side of things. If I am offered it I will take it regardless. If need be I will have to pay less housekeeping. My soa are generally averaging £460 a month with CD (4 weeks) next year The only things I can really wipe are my tv @ £10 and house insurance @ £17. However my bus pass will rise by £9 :o

As I said though I am not worrying we will deal with that if I am offered it. I will take it though even if I am in the poop :T
