Thanks Sally, I've pulled a couple of keys off and can't get them back on!

I've been running loads Linda-just had this past week off to wallow in a bit of self pity but back on track. Aiming for 20 miles this week and the next, then build up to 25. I have a half marathon booked for MArch.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Ames, I did that to my space bar, it was hard to get them back on but I did it in the end, look really carefully to check no teeny tiny bits have come off (I had to super glue a bit back VERY worrying!) and then sort of clip it bac on a bit at a time?

Next 15 min (cos I am losing motivation)

    1. put rubbish out
    2. clean work top
    3. do the hot water
    4. hoover
    5. check apples
    6. put dinner in the oven.
    7. get work out.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

What do you have to do to the hot water Buffy?

Well, he is incredibly attentive, makes a huge effort to understand me and understand what I like .

He curled up close to me and said that although he couldn't give me clarity, 'right here, right now, this is a nice place'.

He was very....I dunno....loving I guess....towards me. I can't quite put my finger on why it felt different to usual, but it did, a little.

But then he said 'Don't forget that I am a selfish, immoral b*st*rd', and he sounded really sad...so I think he was warning me that he can't give me what I want. :(

Cheers Buffy, I've got all the little bits clipped back onto the key bit, but I can't get it to clip into the gap that's left. I'll try again in a bit.

I have a confession to make - I've only just used quidco for the first time. And then second. I'm looking now to see if any of the shops I'm going to use soon are on there.

  • right, teaching folders done. Tomato sauce nearly done for Tuesday night, rice is cooking for tomorrow night, chicken is roasting for Tuesday night. Tuna mayo rolls done for tomorrow lunch. Last of the washing is in and the stripped bed is re-made. Stuff for dinner is on the worktop for later. Mind is slowly going blank as to what I should do next but I really should wash my hair because I got a bit wet yesterday and it has gone a bit yucky. Hate getting my hair ready to wash because I have to brush it straight and it hurts getting all the knots in the curls out :(

Lots of them are selfish babes, at least he admits it ;)

Mine has decided we 'need' a massive new telly because he's struggling to see our current telly. Rather than getting his blimmin eyes tested, he wants to cash in some of his work shares (our emergency car fund) to pay for a 52inch plasma:confused:

I've said no, but he'll more than likely wear me down till he gets what he wants :o
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

getting a bigger telly won't make much difference to him seeing it, spud - it would need to be closer or further away.
