    Cat-is Evie teething?

yes, though it feels like she's been teething for the past five months, since she was two months old!

Just given her a formula feed and she brough half of it back up:( so I guess I'll be giving her a feed at 10pm tonight. I'm sure part of her night waking is to do with being hungry but she just won't eat anymore food during the day.

I made lamb casserole for her today and it's had a mixed response (she wolfed the first lot down (half portion) but turned her nose up at the rest. By then though I was finding the smell a bit overpowering so my face pulling may have put her off:o

Pooky - I made and sold salt-dough for years privately and at craft fairs. Are you putting one, fairly thick coat of varnish on? I always put 3 coats of varnish on as thinly as I could. Make sure your dough is COMPLETELY dried out. That looks quite a thick piece which will benefit from (probably) around 24 hours in the oven at the lowest temp possible.

Sorry - just read that back and it sounds like a bit of a lecture. Didn't mean it to :o Feel free to ignore if it's not relevant.

Look forward to seeing the finished piece - they really come alive when they're painted don't they.

Not a lecture at all, glad of the advice....I used a spray on varnish for a large wheat sheaf I did last year and it just wouldn't harden...I only did very light coats....got there in the end but took longer than I thought.

What sort of stuff did you make? Would love to see some piccies!

Pooky that looks amazing. I wish I was half as talented as you.

Would I be a really terrible mum if I had a LARGE vodka, dash of lime and splash of ginger ale? Would one be enough or could I have two and still be responsible for Evie... Ach, just the one!

If in doubt mush a rusk....I used to find if they'd turned their nose up at everything else a rusk would always go in and give them something to sleep off.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.

Course you do Linda! Or maybe an Indian (like us...)

Forgot to say thanks for the suggestions re back pain yesterday-I still haven't found any painkillers that get near it....BF even offered me some morphine-eek!!!!It's still grim, day 5 now, and no hint of improvement....asked Doc to refer me privately, he said he didn't see the point as intermittent back pain is too difficult to track down....oh, thats ok then!!
