The Xbox 360 version has slightly better graphics, a higher frame-rate, and faster load times.

You can see how flat the PS3 screenshot looks by comparison. If you have the choice, the Xbox 360 version is the one to go for.

If you're into playing online though, it's pretty irrelevant, and you should get whatever version you friends are getting (or talk them into buying it for the Xbox 360 ).

Thanks - think I'll get it on the Xbox (more peace that way cos the Xbox is upstairs)!!

DS has COD:World at War on PS3 which he plays online alot but to be honest the Xbox internet connection is more stable than the PS3.

Although it must be noted that the latest update (well as of yesterday) for MW2 on PS3 disables trophies and makes it a pain to get online.

If online play is important, then I can't really help because I hate playing online and never bother lol.

i went for ps3 as i only buy games for my 360 now if they are exclusives. why? well because of getting the red light problem when the console was less than 18 months old. the second reason is it is free to play online with ps3.
we have cod3, cod4 and cod waw on the 360 and my dad at least reckons the graphics on our ps3 version of mw2 are the best out of all the games.

ps anyone know what that museum level is all about?
