Check out this seller. I've never seen such an obvious scammer; how come eBay can't spot these?
Can I help?

Maybe eBay haven't spotted it just yet. I wouldn't have thought it would be too long before they pick up on it. As you said it's obvious.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Woohoo! I'm normal! Gotta go tell the cat.0 -
Wow that's terrible!
The real seller is Austrian and is presumably unaware of these 1day auctions on her account. I can't believe the cheek of the scammer to say 'you can't contact me on 'ask the seller a question' link so you must email me direct before bidding!'
How can this be reported before anyone bids?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Oh, it's been reported. My issue is that it's quite possible to put software in place to prevent this sort of thing happening in the first place. Something like:
if SalesInTheLastYear < £100 then
if SalesListedToday > £10,000 then
ContactSellerForConfirmation
It's easy and would save hundreds of thousands being lost to scammers. So why not do it? If I don't use a credit card for ages then order £1000+ stuff off the Internet they ring up to check it's OK.Can I help?0 -
Someone posted this over on avforums earlier. Check out the feedback. He could have at least made a bit of effort!

reading his feedback - it looks like he has been creating account, buying his own stuff using different names/ID and then leaving positive feedback
its a bit obvious when all the feedback sounds the same and all of them are no longer registered and they are all from china!
i wish ebay could find a way of stoping this - they make it too easy!
EDIT - but why did those ebayers bid for the item from him anyway - i always check the feedback and see what he has buying etc (im nosey) and if you look at all the items he has been buying they are called ??????????
definetly dodgy!0 -
Looks like someone has reported him, he is no longer a registered user. I had a look at those items he had been buying as well, it was really obvious he was dodgy!0
