ppi query

hi, i am posting this on behalf of my husband, who is a member on here. He, however works away and is unable to get any internet access at present.

He made a claim against alliance and leister, and apparently he has been awarded £4000, they have however, taken it of the outstanding balance of his account. Can he ask them to send the money to him in cheque form, and continue paying the balance hisself, or does he have to accept it this way.

He has no arrears on the account and pays above min payment every month, so we could afford to continue paying as we were, as the extra money would come in really handy for christmas.

He can ask for a cheque, if Alliance and Leicester refuse you may have to take it to the FOS.
