Yep, if you've got the receipt, put a claim in with RM.
The buyer might get a thing to fill in and return before you get your refund, though.Back on MSE after a 5 year hiatus.

You will need to refund the buyer however, before you claim as it can take a while2 angels in heaven :A0

I can't, I supidly didn't send this one recorded.
This is the first time this has happened to me, I usually send them 9 times out of ten recorded! 0 -
You will need to transfer the money from your bank account to your PP account, it takes a fair few working days.
I've just had to do this.
My suggestion is to keep in touch with your buyer, keep em happy and keep them informed.

Even if you had, there's a good chance that either a) the postie wouldn't have got a signature, or b) the online status would never have been updated.I can't, I supidly didn't send this one recorded.

General concensus is that recorded's not worth the 75p, just get a receipt and claim using that if something goes missing (up to £39).Back on MSE after a 5 year hiatus.

OP, just expalin to your buyer that you need to transfer money to your paypala co!!!! in order to refund, and when you have funds (or you sell something else and get funds that way) refund.
Then after 15 working days using your COP you can reclaim the loss from RM just as you would if you had used recorded.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
