The decision maker will not be there.

There will be a disability specialist, a GP (not your GP though) and someone who leads the tribunal.

They will ask you questions based on your application form. I'm not sure about a solicitor, but the CAB, your local Welfare Office or the charity DIAL are possibilities for helping with the process.

Once all the questions have been asked, you leave the room and they make the decision. If they think it will take a long time, they will let you leave and tell you later.

Once you have appealed, you do not need to write a letter. It would be better to get medical evidence, from doctors/consultants etc. You can then send this to them to be considered with your application.

    Thanks for that!

I'm still unsure why she wants a soilctor :S. Today I have to wrote yet another letter, but dunno if I have to send it to DWP or rye Tribinral Servies :S..... I'm just so confussed!

I'm just stressed with it all & can't talk about it to anyone, I tried talking to my mum, but then an arguement happens, so I just shut up now & don't say how I feel cause what's the point.

You saying about another GP, I see several at my Sureagry, would it be any of them or someone more official? (If that makes sense)

    sorry about the spelling mistakes.

Is the DLA for you? What is she telling you to put in the letter?

No, it would be a GP you've never seen.

I really, really would get help with this - from the organisations I mentioned above.

You do not need to write a letter, but they can help you appeal.
