Hi Everyone
Well my wife is getting me to work my little socks off in the new house and we now need a bathroom suite. we have looked around and B&Q have 20% off. Best one is about £240.
We really just want a plain white suite, so does anyone know where the best/cheapest place to get one is???? Maybe without the taps and I'll get them separately.
I live in Warrington if that helps.
Many thanks

If you were in London i'd recommend Greenwich, as was there over thr weekend and the price seems reasonable for the quality on display.0

I'd go along with that too. In our last house we installed a basic B&Q suite and the basin got a couple of chips really quickly. One of the taps was faulty too. In our current house we went for mid-range Twyfords fittings. That is actually what we pulled out and all of it (two bathrooms and a cloakroom) had lasted 24 years intact. I priced everything online and got the best deals once I had decided on which fittings, taps, shower, towel rails etc
Our plumber was pretty scathing about the cheapo oriental imports which didn't have a long lifespan and cracked really easily.
Because we don't do DIY and tradesmens costs are so high it made sense for us to go for fairly decent quality fittings. For a quick refurb or to sell on I would probably not be so bothered.0 -
The bath is the most important item, Bette (german firm) are outstanding, good value for money and come with a 30 year guarantee.
For pottery take a look at Roca, it's Spanish, not top of the range but good value for money again.
Also the Laufen Pro range, Laufen are a very upmarket manufacturer, but the Pro range is commercial and an as a result very well priced, I fitted more of this than any other pottery over the last 2 years.0 -
