Old style birthday party panda theme ideas please!

How about some Panda biscuits, you could make some or buy some plain ones and put white and black icing on in the face of a Panda. Smarties or Jelly Tots (if you still get them) could be eyes and nose.

make a panda cake- any teddy bear type thing will do
make pandas- buy a pot of those furry ball things and a pot of glue from one of those pounds shops

Why not add chinese lanterns to the theme - can make those ones we used to do at school at Christmas time. Also remember "we are Siamese if you please" song from Aristocats - could hold best dance competition to this. Chinese whispers game and how about some good old Confucius fortune telling in the corner!! If you do find a Chinese supermarket, get some fortune cookies - kids love the novelty of opening those - could put them in the party bags - they also have the red envelopes.
