messed up mince !?

I somehow madly messed up a LOT of mince ! I got it in Costco, threw it in the freezer in one big lump, because I wasn't feeling well and couldn't face sorting it into wee piles. Then the husband took it out and half cooked it all in the Remoska. (Was supposed to cook it but the middle parts are still red). Then threw it back in the freezer, still in one big lump !
What can I do - or not do - next ?

Bin the mince, and smother your husband.
(sorry, my sense of humour he he) . I wouldn't risk using it but some might say to cook throroughly and piping hot etc. Not worth the risk for me.
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Hi mardatha,
I'm afraid I'd throw it too. It's just not worth the risk.

Can I not cook it thoroughly just once, and eat it just once?0

It has not been one thing or the other- neither fully cooked or all raw then frozen so I would bin it."This site is addictive!"

Bin it. If he'd cooked it all the way through then yes, you could have refrozen it. But half raw, half cooked is just asking for trouble. No lump of mince is worth getting serious food poisoning from, no matter how much it cost.Val.0
