First off, i would like to apologise if this is the wrong section to post, i couldnt find a suitable one & since i'm a student.....
Anyway, i found a 10p coin that has the face of a 5p/ 5p coin, the size of a 10p.
Does it have a value? Is is worth something?
Thanks.:D

Not sure I can blame the OP for not knowing. In 6 months in a supermarket I only saw one old 5p coin. You're far more likely to come across a 5 cent coin, and how often does that happen to you?0

How long ago did they change? I'm 24 and can remember the bigger 5p pieces before they were made smaller.0

I've never seen a big 5p. I had no idea they ever existed :S I was born in 88 and Wikipedia says it was taken out of circulation in 91 so obviously i was a bit young to recognise money but I'm suprised i've never seen one kicking around the house0
