Used Car Listings in Glasgow

Hi there,

I'm a first time poster, long time listener, and have been shopping around for a car in Glasgow for a few weeks now.

I'm looking to buy used, so have been looking at all the places I could online such as Autotrader, S1cars, Gumtree, Carfinder Scotland etc., but was just wondering if there was any newspapers that published private and trade listings.

Back when I lived in the north of Scotland, we used Scotads for absolutely everything as it was a complete directory of all of the private and trade sales up there. The Scotads down here isn't too brilliant, so is there a newspaper that does a car classifieds section once a week or anything? Or is most of it just online these days?

Hope I'm not being too much of an idiot!

Daily Record do their own thing, The Herald and Evening Times have S1cars. Try adtrader too.

Big problem at the moment in Central belt is the crazy prices of small/medium hatches and trying to spot the genuine private sellers in amongst the part-time traders.
