Why are you so sure that it was GE money transaction? Could you post full describtion of the transaction?
Generally, if you see some transactions on your account that you cannot recognise, you should contact the account provider - your bank.0 -
The transaction said" Card transaction GE Money Ref...............BCC".
I guess my bank will be th first port of call.Do I say I cannot recognise this one?will they be able to tell me specifics of this trfansaction?
Thanks for your reply.something missing0 -
Probably they will be able to give you some more information. If you still cannot recognise the transaction, it is their job to contact the company in question, claim money back and refund you if the company cannot provide the proof that you authorised the transaction.0

How could they know your debit card details? I do remember that some CCs can ask about current account number and sort code during an application process. However, these details can be used only to collect some money from you current account by Direct Debit and only if you authorised them to do this. For all other transactions they need 16-digit number, exp. date and CVV number.0
