Repressuring Air Conditioning

My dad tells me that the air con needs repressurised on my 3 year old citreon C3 (it's not working). Dealer says this is only guaranteed for 2 years, so £65 to do the job. Is there a cheaper way of getting this done? I'm due a service (I don't go to main dealer for this), so is including it with service an option? I have plenty of Tesco clubcard points, if that makes a difference!?

I'd say £65 is a fair price,although there are plenty of private companies that will do it as well.Some dealers don't do it themselves anyway,preferring to sub contract it out to smaller operations,and then charging you for the privilage.

Check your yellow pages to see who is local to you,and then ask them what they would charge.I'm not 100%,but I think it'll either come under garage services,or air conditioning.
