could anyone tell me why for 5 years on my statement it read payment protection plan then in 1980 change to optional payment protection for no reason and also i applied for statements which they sent but 2 years were missing being a synic i found that strange galei

    It was a change of term. Do you feel you have been miss sold this protection? Perhaps they have genuinely lost the two years of statements. They only have to provide the info for the last six years.

    my wife took out this card over the phone and she did not agree to any ppi the statements were from 2003 till 2009 but the missing ones were 2006and 2007which was mid streem which makes me think the worst

    Have you requested a SAR (Subject Access Request) for the information, normally they only go back as far as 5/6 years but some are lucky to receive any info going back to even earlier years.
