  • Yes I believe you have up to 3 years to claim. Make sure you do your due diligence with whomever you decide to work with to get your compensation. Do a lot of research.
  • I went with the national accident helpline and they put me on the a solicitor that did nothing for the first 6 months, then they passed our case between 5 different solicitors in the firm. By the 16th month (!) i explained to them that because of the excessive time taken, they had lost the opportunity to request evidence (cctv footage of the accident) and for this i would have to complain to NAH, they said that my actions were seen as aggressive and threatening and that they would not accept my calls anymore. My advice is not to go through the nation accident helpline. go directly to a solicitors as national accident helpline are just a trumped up legal version of yell.com!
