seller got wrong type of listing??????

I have seen a skirt I like and hope to bid for but I noticed that the seller has listed that she has 9 items so I contact her asking if she is selling 9 skirts but I get a reply saying she does not know where I get the 9 from.
( see listing

I have checked and she has listed nine items on ebay and each is listed as one of nine for sale so that each item will be a proportion of end price. Do you think she will cause a lot of hassle if I buy this shirt for 17p?
love to know what you all think

I would technically read that as 9 identical skirts with an opening bid of £1.50 for the lot (it specifically says not for sale individually) - it's really difficult to know what she means. I don't see how you can buy this skirt for 17p, given the opening bid. I expect she's got herself confused setting up the auction - she's a newbie. I'd treat it as one skirt and bid accordingly (it does say 1 X skirt in the text), and if you get 9 for the price, then that's a bonus. The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.0

The seller appears to have 9 items currently for sale as different auctions, all are advertised as 1 in a lot if 9. The seller is a newbie looking at their feedback (3), so I think they have made a big b*lls-up when putting their stuff up for sale. As a pretty inexperienced seller myself I have no idea how they did this, but it looks like an accident.

I would e-mail her again and get her to look at her auctions, explaining what she has done. I personally would feel bad trying to buy at 17p but it depends on you and the fuss you wish to make when the auction finishes?

It does say "not sold individually", so you would not get the skirt for 17p! The seller has misunderstood the "number of items" feature on the selling form which is intended for listing several items as one lot, and she has entered the number of items she is selling in all her auctions. The price per item counter thingy now thinks that this one auction is for 9 items. The poor stupid seller has also been charged an extra fee (I think it's about 50p) for this! Perhaps you could explain her mistake to her (in a polite and friendly manner, of course) so she knows what's happened and won't do it again.0

Where is the 9 coming from?

The listing has changed. When I first read it about half an hour ago, it had an amount in the listing (1 of 9 available) or something similar. She must have realised what she'd doneDFW Nerd no 239.....Last Personal Debt paid off Nov 2012!

In the main info box near the top, right under the item location, it's got
Quantity: 1 lot available (9 items each)
Cost per item: £0.17 each
(Not sold individually)
Edit: Oh, I didn't realise she'd changed it! Well, that's what it did say before she corrected her error.0 -
WELL it didnt take long for her to re read her listing and alter. maybe she reads these pages too!
I didnt want to go into long explanations with her so I thought post here and see what happens!0
