EGG PPI succesful reclaim

After finding MSE website and reading other people's past experiences on here i decided to use the reclaim template, amended it to suit my needs and sent it away to Egg.
Within a week i received a letter thanking me for my complaint and that they will be looking into it.
2 weeks after this 1st reply they informed me that they will be refunding me a total of £1,580.00 for mis sold PPI, the cheque for this amount arrived a week later, which was today!!
To think i hadn't ever thought of claiming back the PPI premiums and then to get back what is rightfully mine is such a good feeling.
Thanks for a great site and to all the posters in other threads whose experiences inspired me to fight for what i was owed :beer:
