Banks can vary from one to the other, but normally the norm is that of about 28 days after you sign and accept, if they have not refunded to you by then, chase them up, good luck.;)

Hi, well done! I have had a reclaim on PPI with Barclays since last Feb. Finally went through Ombudsman and got offer from Bank for full amount plus interest.
Letter from Adjudicator said (after I had faxed the signed agreement), that if I had not heard within 8WEEKS!! I should get back to them.
Rang Barclays a week later to see what score was and got through to London office. Was told on phone it could be 4 WEEKS. Seems like more delaying rubbish to me, but they did say interest repayment is calculated by the week up until they pay out.
Still seems a scam though as they can rake in charges all the time they are delaying a payout. I will be ringing tomorrow too to see what's happening.
Since the letter from Adjudicator I have had nothing in writing from Barclays - I'd still be in the dark if not for chasing myself.
