Boiler has messed up
Hello,
My boiler has stopped working and have not got a clue what the cause is, basically it is a 5 year old boiler and got checked this year in fact and passed fine-the model is worcester 28i and what happens is that whenever the hot water is turned on after about 15min a warning red light flashes- I can press the warning light and I think it resets the boiler but it takes an age to reset. If I try and turn the central heating on then it is the same thing.
The pressure is good - I even increased it to past 2. Any ideas guys?
Also, I am new to Reading and do not know anyone who can recommend a plummer - any websites I can check for desent plummers that people know of?
Many thanks

When our Worcester-Bosch boiler suddenly packed in 8 months ago, I downloaded the userguide, read it, and did a full reset procedure. It all restarted and has been fine ever since.
A quick check and I found a userguide at the Worcester-Bosch website... 28i Junior RSF (is this yours?) Maybe there is some basic procedures in the userguide which can help, before calling out for an Gas Safe engineer.

Worcester Bosch themsleves do a fixed fee call out 225GBP, number is on the website, to fix faulty boilers. This may be your cheapest option and they say they will have the parts on the van so only one call out. Not a visit to diagnose and if a part needed another visit to fit it.0
