Is it possible to instal an Extractor Fan in a Double Glazed Window?

Hi Guys,
Anyone know how to instal an extractor fan in a kitchen window that is double glazed? Someone told us the other day you just need a window cutter, but I thought double glazed windows were sealed and surely doing that would then give us other kinds of problems?
I read a DIY book yesterday in a local bookshop and it was talking about getting a new pane of double glazing, but I don't want to go to that trouble and expense either, if there is a simpler way.

It is certainly possible to have an extractor fan in a DG unit, but this has to be done at the time the unit is made. It is impossible to cut the hole in an existing DG unit.
Your only way around this is to buy a new unit with a hole already in place, or look to put the extractor fan somewhere else. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
