Had to go to Asda this morning as I spent yesterday revising and mooching around Chinatown - a girl can't live by cheap asparagus alone!

Got a week's worth of groceries for £17.34 which was more than I would have liked, but included tissues (hay fever season), white vinegar (for OS cleaning uses), hair conditioner (preventative purchase - I look like Wurzel if I don't use it) and erm, "lady" shopping - no way round that (and DON'T refer me to the "make your own lady products" thread! I draw the line there!). :rotfl:

Off for lunch in a mo (home made soup) and then back to the books! I can hardly wait...

Sunday is my usual shopping day, but I have just got back from taking part in the Race for Life run ( 5k in 50 mins yay!) and Im shattered! so, hopfully this will stop me from spending anything this afternoon!

I do need some bread fro the week, but I will give my mom the money to pick it up for me, so that should be it for today!

  • A simple day today, £30.00 filling up the old girl with diesel.

That's that... inexpensive weekend really, very pleased. Next weekend will be a bit of a killer I think though, so this quiet one has come just at the right time.

Spend free day today. Got up put made some bread in BM. Dyed my hair went for dark golden brown instead of the reds and plums for a change. looking forward to the results.

Had a big spend day yesterday as I took the kids to see "Monkey" at HMT aberdeen. Really enjoyed the show and on the way home nipped into Asda and finally managed to find Stardrops.

So later i'm going to have a go at scrupping my sitting room floor.

A no spend for me just pottering today and doing some sudoku.

BTW sans, well done for the detailed shopping list - just one query - what is the 'other' magazine you mention? Suddenly my imagination is working overtime...

£30 on some new(well part worn) shirts and tee shirts from local charity event. Got 4 t shirts as new and 2 ben sherman shirts almost new as well as a pair of brand new boxed nike trainers. They wanted 40 the lot and i offered 30.

Also decided to clear out the tray that has all the old letters form creditors. Found £3.57 in the tray in loose change.

I have spent £35.42 on the main weekly grocery shop which also included a new non disposable razor for BF and toothpaste & mouthwash (both BOGOF! :j )

However I forgot to buy brown rice  so will need to get that tomorrow.

Top up of fresh veggies also required later on in week but I am hoping that will be no more than a couple of quid.

That's it today. Have been busy washing car, tidying up, nursing hungover boyfriend, meal planning (pre shopping!) and doing clothes washing for rest of day so that's kept me out of trouble.
