I'm up early this morning so i'll start today's thread. I was hoping just to spend on bread and milk today but my dog clippers gave out half way through grooming one of the dogs last night so she's left with half a very bad haircut (as opposed to the full very bad haircut she normally gets!). With one and a half dogs yet to go I need to try and source some new clippers asap! Ouch.

Need to save some money as we have sold the house and the Solicitor needs some money to do the searches, the mortgage company need an "administration fee" and we are moving quite a long way so we are going to need loads of petrol money for the move !!!

No spend for me today. Will devote myself to cleaning instead (:( )
I'm full of anticipation re how much debt I can shift this month, it won't be clear until around the middle of the month because I'm waiting for balance transfers to happen - why are they soooo sloooow?? I'm very impatient now that I've had my lightbulb moment, and I want to get on with it!Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -

Cleaning, laundry, studying for tax exam
Have a good day everyone.
Edit: Didnt quite get the no spend - just had to spend £10 on a better washing line (the other one was rubbish so I got my money back). Still not bad for a Sunday and I was in Tescos too - never used to get out of there without blowing £50 on !!!!!!The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -

No spend just yet but haven't left the house yet

Budgetted for rabbit food and fish food.
That should do, about £4?
£4.75 grrrrrrrWealth is not measured by currency0 -
Just pottering about in the garden and fish pond today - there's plenty of tea and milk and orange squash - how wonderfully organised - lol...:D. So should be a No Spend Day. Might change the Lawn Mower's oil and sharpen the blade a little later today - a mini servicing so to speak
.... but first I have to air the Sun Lounger...in fact I may lay on it for an hour or two in the sunshine as I could do with a nice airing myself... hooray....

No spend day here either, was considering going to hte garden centre, as i didn't go yesterday, but have been doing bits on the pc and in dd's bedroom.
Need to put stuff on ebay. Contemplating going to car boot sale to get out of the house, less expense than garden centre/ shops!

One step at a time melabarrie. You may find in months to come that you will be prepared to try to groom your dog yourself because you will begrudge paying the money out.
Alternatively with reducing debt/increasing DFW ways, you may find you 'earn' the money for the grooming by cutting back / earning money elsewhere.
Time will tell.....Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly
