no tips on parking, sorry...but we are planning a vegas trip in late sept to celebrate our 30ths (no kids coming either-hooray!)-so would be grateful if upon your return you could post any bargains to be had!!
(ie-good hotels, flights, places to go, things not to miss/things to avoid etc)
thanking you in anticipation!Mortgage free 04/03/2025. Thanks to this site and lots of overpayments bit by bit.
Next stop: house repairs, holiday fund, replace our very old cars, more financial security/early retirement savings.🤞0 -
I am flying to the U.S in Sept and found it was cheaper to book the two separately. £26 for a travelodge room (for two of us) and £54 for 19 days secure parking for heathrow. So in all it cost us £80 for the both.Debt free = December 2010...as of March 2006 it is now January 2010..... as of December 2008 it is now December 2009 :j hopefully sooner!!:jDEBT FREE:j January 2012, took longer but I got there, all by myself, through sheer hard work and pride!0

www.aph.com were doing good deals last summer, we paid £78 for the heathrow marriott, family room (2 double beds) + 15 days onsite at hotel parking, at beginning of August.0

A colleague of mine has said the Quality Hotel at Heathrow can do a room for the night before your flight and 2 weeks parking for about £80. Theres even a mini-bus shuttle that goes back and forwards to the airport. I've yet to chase this up as I'll need it in Dec.:idea:I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about:idea:0

I'm flying from LHR to New York in October. I got my hotel (4* Sheraton Skyline) through Priceline for £43 inc taxes and 4 days parking with Purple Parking for £17ish using the code 'TIPO' on the Purple Parking website. Also went through Quidco for the parking and got 10% cash back. This space has been intentionally left blank0

The TIPO code still works - saving me over £35 on 10 days parking at Heathrow in January - we'll stay at the Travelodge the night before for £26 as it's a very early morning flight. Cheapest alternative was £89 for hotel with parking thru holidayextras (£69 + £20 taxis to and from terminal). Thank you :j0
