18185 connection charge with BT

I have BT free evening & weekend calls.
Daytime calls to landlines have a price per minute plus a 9p connection charge.
If I sign up for 18185, do I still pay the one off BT connection charge plus the 18185 charge of 5p, or do BT get nothing at all?
Sorry of this has been asked and answered many times but I can't find the exact answer anywhere.

BT get nothing at all.
You just pay 18185 the 5p connection fee and then any per minute charge on top, with UK landlines this is zero. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -

Strictly speaking, you pay Finarea (the operators of 18185 etc), and not BT. Finarea has to pay BT for 'originating' the call. If it's short call to a UK landline, Finarea make a profit. If it's a long call, Finarea pay BT more than the 5p they get from you, and therefore make a loss. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
