Npower won't change mym eters?
Hi,
I had npower in my previous home. I moved into this property in september of last year, when they has british gas and powergen, i transferred to npower straight away. I have recently contacted them to ask that i have post payment meters put in and they said i have to be a customer for more than i year, it doesn't count for me because there was a gap??
Is this just really bad customer service or does every company do this???

We were customers with npower back from 04-05 then switched. The house that we bought on the 26th is supplied by Npower with prepayment metres and what we are having to do is join up with them again but we gave them our old account number and since we already have payment history with them they are fine switching them back to credit ones.
Phone them up again and give them your old account number if you still have it handy. It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.0 -
Try telling npower that if they insist you keep the prepayment meters then you'll move to Ebico, the cheapest supplier for prepayment users. They can;t stop you doing that so their reply could be interesting.
And if they still won't, switch.0
