if he has had it less than 28 days and has the receipt they shd refund without any arguments.

Thanks, it just that when he bayght it , they said that they would not refund or exchange under any circumstances as it wasnt part of the 16 day guarantee. They said if it was broke it would have to go to ms for repair.

That store is wrong.

Within 30 Days Argos will always refund or exchange a faulty item, they won't accept that item back however if you say its fine and you just don't want it!

30 Days is what Argos deams a reasonable amount of time for a fault present at purchase to develop!

Consumer Law is so vague its unbelievable!
