Painting straight line between ceiling and wall

if you are using a roller yuou will get spots of paint on any gloss work that will more or less dry on contact and be difficult to remove ,
I wouldnt say it drys on contact.. just have a damp rag nearby to wipe any spots off, it come of very easily. (make sure the gloss is dry before you paint the walls!)
I've always painted ceiling then woodwork then walls. cutting in is easiest with a brush, i have tried the asking tape method but as someone mentioned above it doesn't give a straight edge.0 -
All you need is a decent 3 inch synthetic brush ,Paint ceiling and bring the white 1 inch down the wall,then for the ceiling line thin the emulsion a bit as you will always find cutting in a lot easier ,if the wall colour is a lot darker you will need to be cut in twice otherwise the white brought down from the celing will grin through0
