i purchased a 7foot tree last week from argos for £16.66. bargain !

As I have moved and no longer have room for my 9ft monster and I don't like the smell from cut real trees, I wanted something modest but artificial.

Just received my 5ft Aspen faux tree from Debenhams.com and it's great! Cost 15 quid instead of 30 and with half an hour setting up, pulling out branches and tweaking it looks gorgeous and far from cheap. I also like the base which is a flowerpot rather than the usual plastic cross or circle.

(I used a vouchers.co.uk voucher for free delivery but might it have expired now - worth a check)

Me too - has anyone bought a 4ft tree this year that they can recommend?

Our 2 year old has stripped our 6' so many times we're taking it down, would like a smaller tree to display out of his reach for the next few years!

Preferably one with strong branches that can hold more than just lametta lol

For a change from the usual we Bought a black 4 ft tree from B&M Homestore(similar to Home Bargains) two weeks ago for £4.99 it looks lovely with Purple tinsel,white lights and Purple Baubles all from Poundland.
We are economising due to moving house in the New Year.
Our local Tesco had all lights and Decs half price yesterday.

Just been to B&Q and bought a 6ft Nordic Pine tree and its fantastic, I am really pleased with it and it was half price. Thank-you so much to the op who mentioned them. It was the last one in the store too, so I must have been meant to have it!!
