    Hi!
Just wanted to say thanks to the peeps who recommended the Eiger tree from B&Q.
Hubby just put ours up and it looks bloody fab!!!
Really, really, really pleased with it...it was well worth £49,I would have glady paid more for it.
Only thing we did do was saw a bit off the bottom pole as the tree was just a tad too high but it looks ok now.
    :)

Hi, I've gone by your recommendations and managed to reserve an Eiger tree from B&Q. Only problem is my car's tiny!

Does this tree come in pieces to assemble at home? Would anyone mind giving me the approximate measurements of the box so I can see if it will fit before embarrasing myself in B&Q?:o

    Thankyou!
  • sorry box is in loft - but fitted easily on back seat of our car (Mondeo)

Tesco have a 6ft Canadian Pine (with pine cones on it) down from £24.99 to £10. Bought one yesterday and I think it looks pretty good

We've just bought one of these and put it up today. I'm really pleaed with it, not quite a 6'' tree mind and not as big and fluffy as a £50 B&Q one but really for £10 you really can't go wrong!! :j:rotfl:

Have you seen the cardboard christmas tree from Recycle Now? http://www.recyclenow.com/christmas_09/

They've also made some recycled decorations http://www.recyclenow.com/christmas_09/upcycled_decorations.html
  • Id been looking for a 6ft fibre optic tree, got one reduced from £100 to £49.99 in homebase. A bit more than id hoped for, but it does look good. That was about the best price i could see for one. I know i will be kicking myself in the new year when they all get reduced again but meh!
    Never leave anywhere empty handed
  • Try Morrisons - they have 6ft trees at £10 and prelit with 140 lamps for £20

Sainsbury's have bargain trees on offer.6ft slimline £14.99 and regular 6ft £9.99. Can't remember other sizes but all had offers on.We got the slimline and it is well worth the money.
  • Hi,
Try THE RANGE, we got a really nice Norwegian type tree 5FT for £15.00. Easy to put up too as some of the cheap ones can be a bit fiddly!
    They aslo have a 6FT for £20.
Money is a good servant but a bad master.
