Washer dryer...advice pelase

Hi
just moved in and i am going to buy a washer dryer.
i was looking at getting a Bosch Exxcel WVD24520GB but which? really doesn't rate it. Out of all the ones they rate it is the second worst!!!
i assume which? is pretty good for this kind of thing
DOES ANYONE RATE THIS MACHINE?

of the ones they rate that has a smallish depth (i have a very old tap sticking out so can probably only manage a depth of 57 but maybe more at a push)...the best buys seem to be a indesit for £359 but this seems only to be on sale at comet so might be an old model.

john lewis and m&s only sell one indesit so would assume that they are the newest and best ones but they are differant ones but which hasn't assesed the one is m&s...its a bit of a minefield

the other thing is i have a garden shed but its pretty bad condition ..how long can a dryer last without rusting if i was considering going down the path that is probably best and getting a seperate washing and drying machine

thanking you very much in advance for taking the time to read this and reply???

I have been getting Which? for over 10 years now and usually take their advice when buying something.

When we first got married 8 years ago I bought a washer dryer due to lack of space. It was ok until we had children and needed to dry things quicker. As predicted by Which? the dryer doesn't dry that well. It cost a fortune and took ages too. I ended up buying a dryer when we moved house and stacking the two on top of each other.

My next door neighbour keeps her dryer in the garage but she only has a half size one as she rightly points out that quite often you can only dry half of what you wash. They are a family of four (two grown up kids) and it is enough for them. - Would you have space for a small sized dryer in the house?

My other friend kept her dryer in the shed for 2 and a half years before moving and there was no rust on it at all so I would guess it depends on how damp your shed gets. You may find it cheaper to buy separate machines and according to the engineers who fix these separate machines are cheaper and easier to fix. My husband has replaced worn out bits on our dryer himself without any problems

We have had a few washer/dryers over the years.I have never liked any of them & would not advise anyone to have one.I know a old man who kept and used his tumble dryer outside, under tarpaulin for 5 years ( seriously not recommended)so a shed should be fine,if water proof.
