One more question: How can i decompress the .mp3 file into a .wav file and burn it to CD disk. Bearing in mind that i am Illitrate in techy stuff.0 -
Well when you rip you can select what format you want to rip with (rip) = Decompress (Burn) = Compress, well sort of.
Now lets say you use WMP10 = Windows Media Player 10 Have a look in Tools, Options and the rip music Tab, to play back on most CD players youll need a CDR disk and rip mp3 but Burn as a CDa file that wmp10 does without changing any settings, now to Burn as an mp3 well thats why I use nero as then I get about 120 songs on one 700meg blank CDR disk.0 -
If it's an mp3 that's already ripped, you can convert it to .wav it easily with mkw audio compression tool Just open MKWact and drag and drop the mp3 into it. The first time you use it you should check the settings, e.g things like making the output directory that same as the input directory and untick delete input files. There aren't a lot of settings though as it's a very simple tool.mrseyes wrote:How can i decompress the .mp3 file into a .wav file and burn it to CD disk. To burn wavs to a CD you need to burn them as an audio CD and not just burn the wavs as files. How to do it will depend on what burning software you use.0 -

Hey nice, I use dBpowerAMP myself.
Have to LQQK at that tool you gave, is it open source?0 -
It's free. Does open source mean you can make adjustments to it? I couldn't tell you. Michael K Weise's (the author) homepage seems to have disappearedleesmithg wrote:Have to LQQK at that tool you gave, is it open source?0 -
These are all freeware, never tried them... or you can just do it in wmp as stated above..
