Birds Eye & 3D gone from Bing maps

Does anyone know if there is anything wrong with Bing Maps?.

I've been using the View in 3D facility and Birds Eye for ages now and this does not appear to be available now. The layout sems somewhat different I've noticed. Views that I've used quite frequently have gone. Take the Blackpool and London for example, unless you can find area's that are covered by Birds Eye or 3D, they're no longer a feature.

Can anyone enlighten me please

Looks OK to me where did you have 3D that you don't have now.
I assume you have downloaded the 3D setup and are using IE
Personally its a pale imitation of Google Earth and google maps.

I took Google Earth off last week. I've been using Bing maps for a couple of months now and although not all area's are covered by Birds Eye or 3D those I was interested in were. In particular the Wyke Regis area of Weymouth by the sailing club were "ace".

I wondered if I'd done something to my laptop because several sites, inc MSE, asked me to sign in.

I'd spotted a thread where someone was experiencing slow start up on their laptop (as I have) and someone recommended downloading Advanced System Care, which I found and it found faults and corrected them, so considered that one of these corrections might be the course of changes to settings.

Advanced system care seems to remove more registry entries than ccleaner.
It always seems to find 16000 odd errors when you first run it and offers to remove even more problems if you get the paid for version.

If your PC is a a bit slow starting, I'd run ccleaner, then defrag the HDD using something like defraggler, or your built in one.
Then use ccleaner to have a look see at your startup programmes.

Having a bit of a "what shall I do next?" kind of day, I removed Advanced system care. As for de-fragging, that is done automatically weekly I think.

Know what you mean, just put NIS on a friends machine, and despite being on an 8Mbps connection all the updates took an age, I guess all the kids in the village had gone on line and overloaded BTs creaking service.

Whats next? Tea, but what to have?
