Breast Augmentation Costs

Options
Hello,

I'm looking for information from others regarding BA; Where? How much? Experiences?

I have about £4000 together and don't know where to even start, I'm reluctant to approach any surgeons that are on websites, in the back of YOU magazine etc. etc. Also reluctant to approach the likes of Bupa, Transform etc. as it seems to commercialised. A friend I caught up with a month or so ago had the procedure and you wouldn't even know, was in Harley Street, around that magic £4k figure. I don't have their number or email addy so aren't in a position to ask them (know them from parties).

Looking for underarm incision placed behind the muscle.

Thanks, any experiences hugely appreciated :)

Seems like a waste of £4k then.
  • i know someone who paid £3000 to go from a B cup to a C cup, she's fine, if you like i can find out who she went with if you're interested?
  • not sure exact person, but i'll phone her tomorrow and get some info and get back to you, i know someone else who is having it done on the NHS
  • If I were going to have surgery I think I would try Jan Stanek who does the work on the 10 years younger programme. You could google him. Whoever was Toyah's surgeon also looks like a fab surgeon - his name is in her book - can't remember who though.

  • Aly,

My eyes are shutting so haven't been able to check out your background but I think I am getting the picture with regards IPL and NHS being a joke, birth certificates etc.
Coincidentally I have just had IPL for the first time for rosacea and I didn't think it was too bad - but if you had it for hair removal? I wonder if that hurts more?? I have another 5 sessions to go and looking forward to the results.
By the way, my OH and I were talking about breasts (as you do :rotfl: ) and he was saying that he likes small ones. Obviously you want to be in proportion though...or maybe not?!

    Goodnight

If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Another thing to take into consideration is the weight factor. Believe me big boobs can be painful and mine aren't huge - 38DD. My mum's an F and she has grooves on her shoulders from bras.

I always wear decent fitting bras - a must if you get them enhanced(mine aren't BTW) or you'll get stretchmarks etc. And I wear a sports bra at certain times of the month - a problem you probably won't have to face!!

I wish I could get mine reduced on the NHS TBH - they are heavy, painful, decent bras are expensive, I get folliculitus( I think that's what GP called it) where little spots underneath get all inflamed no matter how clean I am!! and I get shoulder and backache as well!!! The lady GP I saw a while ago, said I had really bad posture - Is it flaming surprising with these enormous things on my front pulling me over - RAFLMAO!!!!!

you can also go to your gp and ask him for recommendations in your local area.

He will no doubt have people registered at his/her practice that has had this done and so might have got feedback from them about surgeons etc... in your local region.

Ask, ask and double ask everybody you know and when you go for an appointment with a surgeon make sure you meet the surgeon and not some nurse or salesperson. Ask them will you be performing the surgery if they say no run out the door!!!!

A lot of clinics have salespepole/nurses there to talk people through it. The advice that the top surgeons say is avoid these clinics and only go to one where you can speak to the surgeon themselves.

Tell me about it - 38G combined with gravity and 2 slipped discs is not a happy situation. Rigby & Peller bras are my friends!
The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.
