I know and now it makes me want a puppy again...:( You can see why people buy puppies and then get bored with them and take them to be re-homed once they are big!

Luc~How do u make the brocoli & phily soup.
Ive just made brocoli & potato & my friend said oh you could have put low fat cream cheese in.

Boil broccoli in veg stock until softish (the more cooked the less pretty the green but the less smooth the soup), put in blender, add a tablespoon or three of phily (depends how much broccoli and how creamy you like it), blitz to required consistency. Eat with loads of crusty bread and real butter.

    is soup really that simple...??

soup scares me... i never make it...

have done a few times and always seems to be something missing... or i end up with so much of it, it just gets wasted.

    pretty much

and if I make a batch I freeze some in 1 and 2 person portions for an easy dinner (butternut soup is especially good with a bacon sandwich...)

  • Right, back from Morrisons. 2 trolley loads of food. Had to take mum with me to pay on her credit card and then she will get it back on Sunday.

Non-perishables in the car as I have a meeting at the place we are using tonight and can offload it to make room for my kit. The rest can go over tomorrow. I hate going over there at nite - 44 miles of dark, bendy roads.

I have to find kit now and iron it. A snooze would be good, been a long day. :D
