ok i have to post this in here as i can't post it anywhere else in mse which is very upsetting i love this site but not being able to ask for help in the section i need it is destressing...
ok i have four children, two weeks ago my wife told me my oldest isn't mine, after a few major arguments i asked her to leave, it's one thing saying it and another for her to pick up and leave without a word leaving me with three lovelies and eight years of memories.
right issues i have is she has been recieving the child benefit so i haven't got that, ok she called them today because i asked her to, i'm waiting for tax credits to sort themselves out (god knows when that'll happen) so i HAVE NO INCOMING on top of that i have been told by scottish power that i o them £700 and am scared to contact them (i'm on pay monthly and love it) untill last week i was working and would give the money to her to pay them, i wanna stay monthly i love it REALLY HATE THE FACT THAT I THOUGHT SHE WAS PAYING IT! i need help i dunno what to say to them as i feel an idiot at the moment i'm a 27 yr old bloke who just wants an easy life feel like crying. i have spoken to social, benefits and housing which is so stressfull i feel targetted because i'm male... on top of all of this i have an iva over my head which i can't miss (as it was set up when we were a couple but even if i kept up payments they'd ask for wageslips which i can't give) i don't want to go bankrupt but I WILL PUT MY ANIMALS FIRST THEY ARE MY WORLD, help me please (if anyone knows someone in the know who can put this post in the right area so that i can get help i would forever be in their debt) x x x

Thought I'd first send you a ((((hug))))
Sounds like you are doing great sorting out the benefits situation - you might be able to get a crisis loan so do ask. Also be sure to ask your family doctor for any help and support that they can provide as you are obviously under a lot of stress. Apart from that the issues seem to be the worry about making payments to the IVA and paying off the debt to Scottish Power?
I know a Debt Management Plan can be adjusted if there are any major change of circumstances, I would have thought there must be something for an IVA? I would either ask on the IVA board, or speak to your debt advisor about the loss of your income ASAP. As soon as you have done that you should write to Scottish Power advising them of your circumstances, don't speak to them on the phone if you don't feel up to it. I know there are lots of template letters you can use on the Debt-free Wannabe board.
Best wishes. :ADeclutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
first thing, ask your supplier about their social tariff, tell them whats going on,
make sure she did actually call about child benefit, unless you were present during the call, call them yourself to verify it, remember you thought she was paying the bills,
one thing I am confused about, you mentioned you had 4 kids but she left you with 3 of them ?
& what did you mean about your animals > ?0 -

The three that were actually his presumably. The post was difficult to understand but not surprising given the circumstances!0
