DFS Peeling Leather Sofa

Hi

Just wondered if anyone could advise me, I have a three year old red leather sofa from DFS which has peeled leather - it started cracking and peeling a number of months ago, last month they came out and "repainted" it - the areas they painted in are now on the badly peeled section.

I think a leather suite should last longer than three years, and any leather suite Ive had before has looked like new 7 or 8 years down the line.

Just looking for a bit of advice here and what my right are.

DFS have stated that the suite is no longer guaranteed by them.

Any advice appreciated.

  • I would love to hear what advice you get on this as I too am having the same problem with my 2.5k leather sofa from DFS. This will be 2 years old next month and I agree that it just isn't right.

I have been looking through the yellow pages to find someone to repair it but I think I will hang on now and see what advise you get.
